Every believer Sharing as a Trained Witness.
Acts 5:42 tells us that the early disciples “never stopped” proclaiming Jesus as the Christ and one way they did this was house-to-house. The goal of this portion of the ACROSS SOUTH CAROLINA Strategy is two-fold. First, that every home in the South Carolina be exposed to the simple plan of salvation. Second, that as many family units as possible attend Easter Season Services at a Southern Baptist Church in their neighborhood or community
This portion of the plan is simple. You will:
- Enlist members of your church to pray for at least three lost people
- Build a relationship with at least one of the three looking for an opportunity to share your personal testimony and the gospel
- Invite them to make a public profession of faith at an evangelistic service on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2010
- Celebrate the baptism of the new believer with their relatives, friends, and new church family on Easter Sunday, April 4th.
In larger communities, you may want to develop a strategy with your local associations, or other churches in your community, so that there will not be a duplication of efforts.
Here are steps for sharing the gospel:
- Enlist All Ages of Believers for Praying and Sharing the Gospel
- Secure and Organize Across South Carolina Materials
- Implement the GPS Plan
- Develop an Invitation to the Palm Sunday and Easter Services at your Church
- Make New Disciples in Sunday School/Small Group
